Message from the Office
The school year is quickly coming to an end and what a fantastic year it has been! Staff and students have continued the work started last year of establishing a sense of identity and community. SAM, I AM! SAM, I AM! You know we are defining ourselves well when the valedictorian address includes the school cheer. Way to go Samantha and congratulations to the Graduating Class of 2017!
Our school is a busy hub with activities planned almost daily and next year will be no different. In fact, we are excited to be working on some initiatives that will enhance student learning and improve the environment for our students. More information will follow in September, but just as a teaser: we are looking to introduce a Learning Commons in our library with a Maker Space component; we are looking to improve the kindergarten play area with some significant additions (multi-year plan); and, we will add basketball nets and soccer posts to our outdoors.
We are very thankful to all parents who continue to work with the school and we continue to encourage you to call us if you have any concerns or questions. We want to ensure that the home-school connection remains strong and positive.
On behalf of all staff at St. Angela Merici, we would like to wish everyone a wonderful summer break, filled with much fun! May you keep safe and healthy! We look forward to seeing you again in September, refreshed and ready for another incredible year!
