The Week Ahead: November 18-22, 2019

Progress Reports (Grades 1 to 8) and Communication of Learning, Initial Observations (Kindergarten) were sent home last week. Parents, with the exception of those of one class, have had the opportunity to meet with their children's teachers to celebrate the great learning that has occurred to date. This is also a good time to reflect on areas for improvement and for students, guided by teachers and parents, to set some goals for the remainder of Term 1. Students are encouraged to take this opportunity seriously and to begin efforts to achieve their newly set goals.
I'd like to congratulate all of those students who have perfect attendance and who have arrived punctually every day so far this school year. If you noticed that your child's absences and late arrivals are a bit high, please take some time to consider how to improve these numbers. Consistent attendance and regularly arriving to school on time has a positive impact on your child's academic
successes.
This Friday, our Parent Council will host its 3rd Annual Christmas Bazaar. Please join us!
