The Week Ahead: September 23-27, 2019

This week, we send our Junior and Intermediate students to defend the many cross country championships earned at last year's meet. Go Archers! Run like the wind!
We will also spend time honouring the memory of Canadian hero, Terry Fox, and running to continue his work to raise money to find a cure for cancer. Help us reach our school goal of $5000 by making your pledge online.
We look forward to seeing all of our families at our annual Meet & Greet event this Thursday, from 5 to 7 PM. The weather forecast looks pretty good right now. Let's pray for no rain!
Finally, congratulations to our parent members on school council! Last year, we managed to finally complete some projects that we have been saving funds for over the last couple of years, most notably the Kindergarten play equipment. We also raised just under $25, 000 through the very successful SAM Lottery. All of this money, down to the last penny, has been spent on technology items, including 38 Chromebooks, 10 LCD projectors for the classrooms, and additional equipment (video-recording) for our Learning Commons. A special "THANK YOU" to all of our parents who have donated so generously over the years and to our Council members for their tireless work.
Finally, a reminder that Friday is a PA Day and there is no school for our students.
