The Week Ahead: December 17-21, 2018

And here we are, entering the last week of school before the Christmas break. Looking back on the academic year so far, our heads begin to swim and spin with all of the incredible learning and extra-curricular experiences our students have had.
Mrs. Bowen and I are so proud of all of our students, and their many accomplishments! Students have let their lights shine brightly in so many ways. Most recently, the Christmas concerts showcased their wonderful musical talents, and just this past Friday, six students from grades 7 & 8, accompanied by Mrs. Montevirgen, competed in the South Simcoe Science Competition hosted by St. Marie of the Incarnation School. Our Archers took first place, edging out some fierce competition from our neighbouring schools. Congratulations!
This week will be jam-packed with activities and celebrations and excitement will be running high among all. Students are reminded to maintain their composure throughout this week. Learning and behaviour expectations remain in effect.
We look forward to a super week to cap off a great four months at SAM!
