SNOW VALLEY: Third Outing Cancellation

Each
year we have offered skiing, boarding, and tubing at Snow Valley in
Barrie to our students in grades 6 to 8 at reduced rates. The program
has introduced many students to these fun winter activities, offering
great value. This year, unfortunately, we have not had the participation
rates required to justify continuing this program. The first trip date
saw just under 60% of our students attending. The second outing was
slightly better at 64%, but still low to continue. As a result, we are
cancelling the third and final date. Families who have paid for one of
these activities will be reimbursed over the next few weeks.
We
will gauge interest for next year and, if numbers are favourable, we
will reintroduce this fun and exciting opportunity to our students.
