On Friday March 31st and Saturday April 1st, 3 teams of two competed in the Regional Science Fair competition at Bearcreek Secondary School in Barrie. The three projects included: a Maglev Train (using magnets to levitate a train), Magnets, Electricity, and Perpetual Motion (using magnets and perpetual motion to create electricity), and The 15 second Rule (analyzing the Germ theory). 

A big congratulations goes out to the Maglev Train team who placed 3rd in their division for Computer and Engineering. Magnets, Electricity, and Perpetual Motion received an honourable mention in the Computer and Engineering category.
