On Monday February 13, our Intermediate Speech Competition was held in the gym. There were 3 competitors chosen from each intermediate class. Every competitor should be very proud of their hard work. It is difficult for many to speak in public. The judges, Ms. Belland, Mrs. Hausman, Mr. Mantulak, and Mr. Butterworth were extremely impressed and the judging was very difficult. Our top three winners were Luis, David, and Gia. 

On Thursday February 16, Luis Rodrigues and David McBeth represented SAM at the Catholic Women’s speech competition. Not only did they amaze the judges with their speeches but their impromptu speeches were impressive! A big congratulations goes out to Luis who came in second place and to David who came in first! “I want juice” boy will live forever in our hearts. St. Angela Sweep has a nice ring to it!
