Message from the Office
Wow, it’s November already! September and October flew by, as we celebrated many occasions with new and returning students, families, and staff; school-year opening Mass, a “Welcome Back” Meet and Greet BBQ, our first Catholic School Council meeting of the year, Terry Fox Day, Spirit Days, Junior and Senior Soccer, and Junior and Senior Cross Country, to name just a few!
November is also a time to remember the Saints and to celebrate their lives of holiness. We celebrate All Saints Day on November 1st and All Souls Day on the 2nd. November is also a month for remembering those people in our own families who have died as well as those in the world. We ask God to be merciful to all who have died. We ask God to forgive them for any wrong they might have done during their lives so that they may join the saints in heaven. The following prayer from the Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity offers a glimpse of the glory that awaits our dead.
