Lunch Time Change Tomorrow

On Thursday, June 7th (tomorrow), St. Angela Merici will be participating in the Torch Run as noted in this week's The Week Ahead.
To accommodate the timing of this event, we need to move the second nutrition break back by 40 minutes. As a result, the second nutrition break, which normally runs from 12:40 to 1:20 PM, will be moved to 12:00 to 12:40 PM. Please note that this change is for tomorrow only.
The Torch Run is led by South Simcoe Police and serves to raise awareness for the Special Olympics. One of our students will participate in the torch exchange at the pavilion at Alan Kuzmich Park and will then run with the supporting officers to our school. The time of the exchange is roughly 12:55 PM and entry into our school is set for roughly 1:15 PM.
A section of West Park Ave will be closed off for a short spell to allow for the run on the road. Our classes will be out to support Isabelle and the event. They will line the street with posters and will cheer on the runners.
