Each
year, we provide three separate days of winter outdoor activities
through Snow Valley. Students have the option of skiing, snowboarding,
or tubing. On Wednesday, January 24th, a little over half of our
students from grades 6 to 8 participated. This is a very low
participation rate. We need at least 80% participation to be able to run
our next event on February 6th, otherwise, we will have to cancel the day at Snow Valley.
The
school rates we have been able to secure are fantastic and a great
value. A day of skiing or snowboarding with rentals and lessons would
cost much more. This is a great opportunity for your child to be
introduced to excellent winter activities that they may choose to enjoy
the rest of their lives. If you haven't already done so, please book
your child's trip through school-day. Please note that access to this
trip through school-day will close on February 1st.
